Bundi vegetable (shabzi) market is full of visual delights. The main area is quite open, but in one corner there is a covered area where I came across this man tending his beautiful arrangement of produce.
Actually it became one of those unexpected and rare travel experiences that you treasure, not only because of the natural beauty of the scene and the light, but the soulfully transcendent stare of this man.
After asking his permission and setting up my tripod, I had time to shoot a few sharp images at 1/8th second, a shutter speed normally only used for motionless subjects. It's a timeless image for me and a personal favourite from the India Collection. It works well as an image hung in the kitchen.
We print on heavy grade archival 100% cotton rag fine art paper and prints are sent unframed in a cardboard tube.
