Gu (darkness; guru: dispeller of darkness) is the opening image for the Transformation series. Humanity is on the edge, shrouded in darkness and facing an abyss, but there is hope, with light on the horizon and a solitary cloud beckoning the latent awakening.
My friend bravely stood covered in black on the edge of a gargoyle like rock that protrudes over the precipitous cliffs at Wattamolla in the Royal National Park. We have been in the dark so long, for so many lifetimes.
Despite the dark mood this is a very optimistic image.
We print on heavy grade archival 100% cotton rag fine art paper and prints are sent unframed in a cardboard tube.
